Clean Beauty 5 x5 video!: http://bit.ly/clean-foundations
If you saw my post on Monday you know that clean beauty/makeup is something that's been on my mind a lot recently. It's been wonderful to see the incredible array of products now available in the clean beauty space, but it's also making it increasingly more confusing. How does one determine what's a quality product from one that isn't? What about sustainability and packaging? That's why I invited the incredible Tiila Abbitt, founder of Aether Beauty on the podcast today to discuss just that: how to make cleaner makeup choices and also support the environment.
Tiila started off her career in beauty working at Sephora in their product innovation group. It's no surprise she learned a ton from this experience which she's now brought to her latest venture, Aether Beauty. Aether is not only a cleaner, more sustainable makeup brand, they're also blurring the lines between makeup and spirituality. As I've begun experiencing a spiritual awakening of sorts (more on this soon), I love anyone who is considering spirituality as they develop new products. This is a great conversation for anyone looking to convert their makeup bag to cleaner products and be more intentional about their makeup choices.

The Art of Gathering...what does this really mean? To be honest, up until a few months ago I didn't think too much about the art of gathering, or if it existed at all. People can simply just come together in a space and enjoy themselves, right? Wrong. While gatherings can certainly happen spontaneously and still be enjoyable, there is much more to a successful and meaningful gathering. And the work that you put in ahead of time certainly is worth it. How do we know this? Thanks to Priya Parker, a conflict-resolution mediator and gatherings consultant.
Priya is also the founder of Thrive Labs, where she helps activists, elected officials, corporate executives, educators, and philanthropists create transformative gatherings. She's the author of The Art of Gathering and is truly transforming the thought and practice that goes into creating meaningful gatherings, something that we do every day of our lives. This episode is applicable to everybody, whether you love to host dinner parties, find yourself in frequent meetings at your office or are deep in the wedding season circuit. There's something for everyone!

Listen to last year's episode with Curt: http://bit.ly/2STXcYC
It's the Valentine's Day episode! Or at least, it's the day before Valentine's Day...you get it! After last year's episode with my husband (then fiancé) Curt Lederle seemed to really resonate with you guys so I asked if he'd come back and join me again this year. Fortunately, I didn't seem to traumatize him too much after last year's episode and he happily said yes. So today's episode is all about what's changed, what hasn't changed and what's coming up next now that we're married.

Human Design - Have you heard of it? Up until a few months ago I hadn't either. As a total astrology and personality testing nerd, it's no surprise that as soon as I discovered Human Design, I was obsessed. In some ways I believe that the universe meant for me to discover it because for months I kept having people bring it up with me and ask me what my design is? I knew it was time to dig in full-force when past podcast guest, Kelsey Patel connected me with a Human Design reader. And that's how I met today's podcast guest, Amanda Green from Intuitive Galaxy.
